Why Blaq

Coffee, read to the label.

We started Blaq because we could not find the coffee we wanted to drink.

Organic specialty coffee. Tested for mycotoxins. Single origin. Small batches, named and numbered. Roasted in-house in Kuala Lumpur.

Our Standard

We test every batch.

Every lot is tested for ochratoxin A and aflatoxins before we roast it. Organic, single origin, traceable to one farm. Most roasters do not test. Most do not mention it.

The Standing Arrangement

Coffee that arrives on your rhythm.

Choose a coffee and how often it comes. We roast it to order and send it on the rhythm you set. Pause, skip, or stop whenever, from your account.

The showroom is small. Deliberately. A shelf of coffees in roast-date order. We pour for whoever walks in.
